The Importance of Travel

People have long said that there is a divide in humanity. Those who do things and those who don’t. It has been mentioned that 5% of the world have the ability to do whatever they want! Generally the things the other 95% of people say they can’t do. So for example if you are in the 5% and want to go travelling you’ll leave tomorrow, if you aren’t but you want to go travelling you’ll tell yourself you need to save or need to go with someone or can’t go yet because of some stupid reason. The 95% exists so the 5% can live a proper life.

Put yourself in the 5%, it’s where the fun starts.

If you don’t travel what are you doing here on earth? You have one go at life, if you believe in heaven that’s fine but you still have one go here on earth, you might believe in reincarnation, that’s fine but you still have one chance as a human. You get one shot and you’re telling me you want to spend it in one place doing one thing? Why?? Imagine if an alien appeared and had a look at our planet. The amazing things it has to offer, more or less amazing than it’s home planet it doesn’t matter. Would this alien understand why we don’t try to explore every inch of our planet before we die? Or how about another example, go back to your 7 year old self, and how you wanted to have fun and explore and ask questions and play. Would your 7 year old self be happy with being in one place doing one thing? I would say that’s unlikely.

I see this world as a playground, many others do to. If we had an hour left on earth we would have as much fun with the people we love. If we had a day we would do the same, or a week, or a month. Does it stop there? If someone where to tell you the day you die would your life change? Even if it was in 50 years time surely you would get up and think well fuck me why does this word document matter.

Enjoy the world, we are lucky to be here before we inevitably destroy it. Go and have fun, you aren’t here for ever. Why waste your time doing shit things?
