I shit you not Prague has absolutely cracked the code. I haven’t found one thing that is wrong with this place.
The public transport is incredible, not only is it bang on time but it’s insanely prolific, trains, trams and buses literally ever few minutes to everywhere. It’s also seemingly free. If there is a cost then it’s not at all enforced. There is no need to give travel tips because it’s so simple, all I’ll say is don’t get a Taxi.
The tourist attractions are out of this world and the tours are incredible. The place is full of history and you can see it from anywhere you go. It’s one of those places that you’ll plan to go see something but you’ll walk past 12 equally amazing things on the way, finding yourself taking pictures of things you know nothing about and aren’t even on your little tourist map.
The food is great, so is the drink and it’s so cheap but so good. You can pick up pints for the cost of, well, now I write it I’m not sure there’s even a comparison out there. The food, I am a fan of Mexican food, honest to god they have smashed that out of the park too, better than the actual Mexican food in Mexico.
The airport was cool, the streets are clean, everyone speaks English even though a visible passion for the Czech language can be seen. Everyone is very nice and polite. It’s such a great place. I’m not here long so can’t tell you about any hidden treasures but if you haven’t been to Prague, go, for the love of god go!
For those of you that haven’t been anywhere, haven’t travelled, haven’t planned to travel, Prague is a reason to see this world. Prague is a real cheap place to start and an easy first step to make.
